Research Work
- Awarded first prize in the RCGP/Astra Research Award, 1980.
- Awarded a grant of £19,000 in 1992 from North West Thames Regional Health Authority for a survey of women’s reproductive health; this survey formed part of my doctorate.
- I have had seven oral and eleven poster presentations accepted at national and international congresses.
- I have written over 90 peer-reviewed papers, two books and thirteen chapters in books on contraception and reproductive health care.
Other Activities
- I participated in the launch of the findings of Professor Sally Sheldon’s project on Medical Abortion and the Law on 23 March 2016
